The XT-5 RFID Long Distance Reader is an efficient and secure vehicle access control solution which offers a lot of conform functionality at the drive-in and drive-out area. The XT-5 reader is supported by both Access Management System and Building Integration system and is either integrated with a RS-485 interface and OSDP protocol or via Wiegand.
Built to detect both entries and exits of vehicles, the XT-5 RFID Long Distance Reader can automatically identify vehicles that are at: industrial gates, barriers, gated communities, toll booths or that are parking. It operates with passive UHF TagMaster Windshield ID-tags and has a range of up to 10 meters.
How the reader works: it forwards the presented transporter ID to the Access Modular Controller (AMC2), which will then check if the authorization rights to open the gate are met.
