Access Control Systems

New launch - AMS Enterprise 6.1

Launch of AMS 6.1

We are proud to present AMS Enterprise 6.1. This complete license has all the functionality on board for large-scale projects. The new Hierarchy feature in AMS Enterprise 6.1 makes the software an ideal choice for companies with a multi-location setup that could benefit from Centralized Cardholder Management. AMS Enterprise 6.1 can be combined with the Building Integration System (BIS), third-party video management, or building integration platforms, making it a high-performance access control solution that responds to complex security demands.

What is new in AMS 6.1?

  • Hierarchy Feature
  • Integration for BIS
  • IP whitelist
  • Soft Anti-Passback
Hierarchy Feature

Hierarchy Feature

The system uses a layered server setup that keeps data organized and flowing smoothly. It updates cardholder and device information in different ways so nothing conflicts. Even if the network goes down, local servers keep working, making the whole system reliable and always available.

Integration with BIS

Integration with BIS

When using AMS Enterprise 6.1, you can choose to add a license for the Bosch Building Integration System (BIS) for complete building integration management. This modular approach allows you to start with AMS and expand to BIS later, depending on your integration needs. This streamlined structure makes it easier to scale and adapt your system as your requirements evolve.

IP whitelist

IP whitelist

The IP whitelist allows for verifying and restricting the connection of AMS workstations. Once the customer verifies the IP addresses and enables the IP Whitelist with the check box in the lower left corner, then the AMS backend will only accept connections from IP addresses shown here.

Soft Anti-Passback

Soft Anti-Passback

The normal Anti-Passback feature prevents cardholders from passing on their card to somebody else after entering, because the card does not accept repeated entry. The introduction of ‘Soft Anti-Passback’ allows cardholders to re-enter through the same door even if the anti-passback rules would normally block them. The double usage of the card will be flagged by the system, though, so an appropriate action can be taken by the security operator. This ensures smooth movement for Soft Anti-Passback Access Management System 6.1 Report Management legitimate repeated entries without compromising overall access logic.
